AccuracyRatio evaluates the risk of accepting nonconforming parameters and of rejecting conforming ones. The accuracy ratio calculations key on test/calibration accuracy versus parameter tolerance limits. AccuracyRatio features guardband analysis, risk baselining and true versus observed in-tolerance analysis. AccuracyRatio accommodates two-sided, single-sided, symmetric and asymmetric tolerance limits and features a full reporting capability.
AccuracyRatio is based on methods reported in NASA Reference Publication 1342, U.S. Navy R&D reports on the Equipment Tolerancing System (ETS) and on leading papers and articles in the field of analytical metrology.
AccuracyRatio contains a built-in measurement uncertainty analysis capability and interfaces seamlessly with UncertaintyAnalyzer to accommodate the effects of measurement uncertainty on risks.
